It’s been far too long since we’ve updated this page, myspace sucked us in…. Since the last post 3 months ago, we parted ways with our original drummer, and have since replaced him with our current drummer, Mike. This process has certainly delayed the recording of our forthcoming EP, but we are back on track. We hope to begin recording soon, once we get our hands on some needed equipment. Dead Earth Records will be releasing a tape version of it, Flenser Records will likely be issuing a vinyl release of it, and it’s looking like we will be releasing a limited edition cd of it ourselves.

 

In other good news, we’ve begun playing live again. We recently played with Velnias and Servile Sect as our first show with Mike on drums, and it went extremely well. In less than a month we will be playing with Vault Dweller, which we are greatly looking forward to. On a related note, we have been throwing around the idea of doing a short west coast tour sometime in the coming months. Stay posted for information about that.

Just wanted to update everyone on the status of Ash Borer, etc. We’ve begun (once again) the writing process for our next EP, which will be recoreed this fall somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. It will consist of 2 10 or so minute songs that should please anyone who enjoyed the demo. Dead Earth Records will be doing a tape version of it, and we’d like to find someone to put it out in some other format as well (10” vinyl!). Speaking of releases, the Ash Borer/SardoniS split should be coming out soon, and our demo is also being released in cd form by the awesome people at Lundr recordings.

 

We will resume playing shows again in August, and already have a few shows booked , with more to follow.

We are currently on a bit of a summer hiatus, while some of us are pursuing endeavors out of the Pacific Northwest region for a while. We'll be back up and running in August, hopefully with a slew of shows, potential touring, and the recording of our next EP.

 

Pictures of our last show, as well as the tentative design for our split tape with SardoniS have been uploaded to our myspace account, for all who are interested.
